Olango Island – My Piece of Paradise

Long time no see!

I haven’t wrote about anything for over a month, and I want to share an experience I recently had which I really enjoyed.

Sometimes, people need to take a break from the hustle and bustle of city life. They need to get away from it all, to rest their weary bones and soothe their souls. So, I decided to go to Olango Island, specifically Tingo, my mother’s hometown. For me, it is an experience which I can never forget.

While in Olango, we stayed in Baybayon Beach Home, a beautiful location in Tingo, northern tip of the island. It makes you feel like you are at a home and gives you a nostalgic feeling of tranquility.

After putting personal belongings here, we decided to tour the island. Riding a tricycle has never been more fun seeing people go about in their daily lives. We went to San Vicente and checked out a few places.

The truth is, I really regret that I only took a few photos of the places we went 😦 because I really enjoyed my stay there. This has been a wonderful experience. I hope I can see you guys there someday! 🙂

My Musings as a Fresh College Graduate

Graduation. The day where you feel that you achieved everything in life, where your goals are achieved, diploma obtained and made yourself and your parents proud. When I graduated almost two months ago, I felt that I have reached a point where I know that I have been successful with my life. I really felt pride in myself that I have a diploma which I can look at and say to myself that ” This is the end. I did it!”

And a month later, I was proven so wrong.

It dawned to me that the real world isn’t about the birds and the bees and the flowers and the trees and the moon up above. It is about looking for post-graduate studies and looking for a job so that you can have your own money and sustain yourself and also help your family. The real world is a harsh place where if you lack the guts and the initiative to survive, you will be eaten alive.  My naivety was shattered and  developed a more pragmatic and realistic viewpoint of life. Or maybe I was too sensitive to begin with, I should change. These are the things that I realized post-graduation, and many more.

And most of all, I realized that life is not about having the best, it is about making the best of what you have. I have earned this diploma, and I will prove it to the world that I am someone who will make his mark someday, somehow.

Good day to all!

In love with the SJCAM M20!

Good day! This is my first post after a hiatus of 3 years and it will be about a camera I fell in love with, the SJCAM M20!

I really wanted a camera in which I can bring anywhere and use anytime. The first camera that usually comes into mind is a GoPro Hero, which is an amazing product. But unfortunately, I do not have enough cash to buy that. Instead, I chose this camera because it is affordable and at the same time, it is a quality product.

The one thing which makes this camera very attractive and cool for me is its form. It has an unusual shape which I really like (unlike the usual rectangular action cams). I also like its price and it has many accessories 🙂

The camera’s features can be found at http://sjcamhd.com/sjcam-m20-camera/

Here is the camera:

Here are some pictures  I took using the SJCAM M20 .I really like the quality. I hope you guys do so too.

These photos are taken at various resorts in Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu, Philippines(Crimson Hotel, BE Resorts)

This camera costs $119 dollars at the offical SJCAM website, but you can buy this camera at Lazada for 4,700 Philippine pesos! I tell you, this camera is  a bang for the buck 🙂

If you have any questions and suggestions, feel free to comment! Have a great day!

In love with the SJCAM M20!

Take A Chance

Take a chance! All life is a chance. The man who goes farthest is generally the one who is willing to do and dare.

-> Dale Carnegie

Life is all about taking chances. You can never go the distance if you do not jump and fall. Successful people got to where they are by taking risks only a few would dare.

Why? Because getting out of your comfort zone is very beneficial to you. You get to discover yourself more, know your limits and your potential. It allows you to see the world in a very different light and achieve things you might not otherwise reach.

If you just stick to things you are used to, you might never improve. You might also end up in a situation worse than where you were. If you succeed, you end up better, if you fail, you end up wiser. There is nothing you can lose if you just try. Live, Love, Life.

Success is not in how many times you fall, but in how many times you rise up again and show the world that you can do it. So what are you waiting for? Make something happen, take a chance!
